I have focused my entire career on the investment marketplace. The first phase of my professional life was dedicated to managing investments for some of the country’s largest institutions – pensions, foundations, and charitable organizations.
After more than a decade in the institutional world, I co-founded Martello as the Head of Investments to bring the same level of attention and care typically reserved only billion dollar clients to hard working families in our community.
At Martello, your investment portfolio is more than just a collection of stocks and bonds, or a mutual fund sold on commission by the typical wirehouse advisor.
We focus on a long-term investment solution, custom to you and specifically tailored to help meet the goals of your financial plan. We are committed to the fiduciary standard, so we vow to place client interests above all else, and we’ll never generate a commission from your investments.
Everything we do—our team, services, investment approach, and financial planning process—is in service to you.
The most widely-respected global financial certification one can achieve, this is one of the most difficult sets of financial certifications. There are three levels to pass, and passing this takes a minimum of three years and 300 hours of study for each level. This certifies proficiency in the following knowledge domains, among many others:
Key West, Florida native, settled in Virginia Beach with my wife Courtney, two kids, and golden retriever Sandy.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me traveling with my family for fun or, more likely, for youth baseball tournaments (which is also fun!). You might also find me tending our home garden, where my wife and I grow heirloom varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and many other veggies.
